League results from January to now shown from Left to Right. Not sure what the rest of you think, but I'm preparing myself for a play-off semi-final defeat and another season in this awful division.

"Brighton grab their first home win in over two months at the expense of Nottingham Forest"
2 months they havent won at home and yet again Forest are the team that give them a win! All too often this season we have let leads slip to inferior teams. The manager is where the buck stops. It has all the signs off us staying the divison again....

they f***ed it up again the teams much lower than them are beating them time to take stock and stop the slide because it will probaly happen if they keep going the way they are ,they will struggle to make the play-offs and i couldn't go through another season in league1

Positive news is that out of our 14 remaining games, 8 are at home. Bad news is that we still have to go to S****horpe and Bristol City away. Tyson now has a 3 match ban.
Starting tomorrow night we have Blackpool (h), Chesterfield (a), Huddersfield (h) and Donacaster (h) - before we have to go to S****horpe. I really think we need 10 out of 12 points from these four games before we go to S****horpe.
To be honest, I don't think our lot have the required hunger for promotion - but hopefully they'll prove me wrong.

My heart says Forest are good enough to win this shite league, and a couple of good loan signings will put us right.
But my head worries about the way Calderwood and the senior players are ignoring actual results when they talk about how determined and confident the squad is. We've seen this type of thing before usually just before relegation. I get the impression from Calderwood's tactics and team selections that he wants to be seen as the one who wins games - a trait many new manages seem to have - but for me he should be doing everything to ensure that the players win games.

Well, that that's the first promotion place gone folks. We won't be catching S****horpe who are now 7 points ahead of Forest. On the 4th November Forest had a 7 point lead at the top of the table over Yeovil Town, with S****horpe a further point behind. So that's a 15 point spread lost to S****horpe in 3.5 months. I can't believe that we are now in a dog fight for second spot and I won't be putting any money on Forest. It's play-off hell for Forest unless someone starts slapping heads.

Calderwood's tactics ie defensive are baffling to say the least. We go a goal up and it's like Megson all over again :???:
And why Sammy Clingan does not start instead of Gary Holt is shocking.
I think we'll make the playoffs alright. With a couple of decent loan signings though and if Calderwood changed his ideas a bit we'd probably go up automatically.
....frustrating isn't it?

At this rate of form, you would have to say its another season at least in League One. Although its likely we'll go on another good run before May so anything is possible.

Despite last Saturday's morale boosting win, at the end of the day we got 7 points out of these 12 (DWWL). I think S****horpe have won 7 in a row now and I won't be backing Forest on Saturday. We are now 10 points behind S****horpe - even if we achieve a miracle win on Saturday we still cannot catch them. We are in trouble if Bristol City win their two games in hand (would go 5 points ahead of us). Hopefully Chesterfield will do us a favour tomorrow night.

As far as i'm concerned this is turning into a farce.
We needed 6 points from two home games, we got 3. No matter if we won 15-0 on sat we needed to win tonight. The SAME TEAM went out and lost..... why? either they are not motivated enough (Calderwood's responsibility) They we're not the right team tactically or positionally to beat Doncaster (Calderwood's responsibility) or they simply don't care (Players responsibility but they have shown enough passion previously to suggest its not this).
I've been saying in Southbank almost weekly for months now that there is no plan B, failure to get up this season would be disastrous for Nottingham Forest, The only plan B is: Calderwood must go now and lets hope that spurs the lads on. People spouting rubbish about play offs are totally deluded, we would struggle in them if indeed we manage to stay in the top 6, right now i'd back us for 7th or 8th place.
One final point directed at CC:
Gary Holt - One good game on saturday does not make a season, get rid of him.
And finally, this is a text from my mate at the game responding to my question of 'where the boos bad at the end' , heartbreaking to read but totally believeable:
Didn't stick around but I imagine so, They should hang their heads in shame, ****in disgraceful. Normally I'm proud to say I'm a Nottingham Forest fan, the words usually fill me with pride whenever I read them, right now i'd be embarrassed to admit it
Says it all.

Well as far as i am concerned its just another shite result in the long line of shite results in this poxbottle of a division, its a topsy turvy season but its getting close to the breaking point, its looks like the game v bristol city will be the cruncher also hoping that chesterfield can spring a suprise tommorow night,we can still do it but cannot afford another disastrous result like tonights.
