Membership Cards please read very important

Arsenal are now doing spot checks on any person entering the ground with a paper ticket

As a result any member attending a fixture from March onwards will be issued a temporary photographic membership card from me

There has been the odd occasion this season when members have passed on tickets they applied for to friends etc we have been fair on this issue as we have seen no one charge extra for this and the games in question were not over subscribed however this will no longer be allowed to happen

To enter the stadium now you must have your card and ticket.

Tickets will have names on them
The name must match the card
The photo on the card must match the person attempting to gain entry to the stadium.

We are sorry if this sounds strict but we aim to work with Arsenal to ensure tickets dont fall into the wrong hands.

Yes I think thats a good idea. when are these new membership cards going to be issued?

Would it not be simpler for Arsenal to just activate the membership cards of those that apply for tkts throught the supporters club, rather than issue paper tickets and then require people to also get a photo card?

Some people may not be Red members and therefore not have membership cards.

No paper tickets are far easier to deal with we have over a hundred members the majority of our tickets ome from silver numbers and not red memberships. I really dont need the hassle of passing around membership card on a game to game basis. Its much easier to hand out a paper ticket. That is why the system was put in place, problem is some supporters have abused the paper tickets system by selling them on.
