yeah, instead of getting the top two in scotland, fenerbahce or lazio etc... we can get inter, ac milan, real madrid, barcelona or porto... not that the groups have been decided, i'm just guessing. the weakened team has no doubt cost us here, as did the 4-5-1... as bad as senderos was, i was more disappointed with gilberto. he didn't seem to care, we saw nothing of the professional attitude wenger has been lauding recently. he'll be off in january to give diarra etc more 1st team chances.

God it was painful to watch last night. Looked like we'd concede and anytime and only played football for 2 periods of about 10 minutes.

Overall I was disappointed with Senderos, Gilberto, Rosicky, Bentner and Eduardo.

Alves had a free role down the the wing and I was suprised that Wenger didn't take action on this and bring in the likes of Diarra to work his socks off and silence Alves.

Hopefully that's the loss we needed to keep us from getting carried away with our unbeaten run mindset. Bring on the villa!
