Not too sure if this will go ahead as Forest play Chesterfield on Friday in a friendly.

No sooner was this game in Cork mentioned it was off again....I was told about it Saturday night and by Sunday evening it was knocked on the head......
Seems a strange one. I saw this, this morning though, so maybe it was a runner at one stage...

Geoff mentioned it to be on Saturday but said it wasn't 100% confirmed.

Officially not happening now according to Geoff, he emailed me this morning to pass on the word.....
Reading between the lines, I'd say Richardson approached the club and Forest did consider it, but with the cost of travelling etc, our club knocked it on the head. From what I hear, the plan would have been a Friday night game with the team travelling over Thursday.
Shame. Would have taken a trip down there. They'll just have to come to Galway the next time. A few miles up the road, I'm sure Neil will accomodate Nigel Doughty and Mark Arthur at his gaff for a few days!!
