Personally i think we have a great chance but we have to get another striker in fast, losing agogo will be huge and we have nobody to replace him,i know lennon is not the flavour of the month but we still need him imo, this team has a chance to grab the bull by its ******** right now and go on and piss this poxy league, the only thing that might **** it up is calderwoods tactics which are baffling sometimes

Agree with pretty much all of that. The striker thing in particular really baffles me. We really need a loan striker right now. We need at least 4 decent strikers who have are pretty much around the same level. I'm not counting Dobie and Sinclair is still not ready. I keep thinking back to last season at the end when Tyson and Agogo were injured and we were stung big time. Unfortunately its my gut feeling that we will just fall short of getting 2nd place, we just don't have the consistency if you go by the season so far. After a great game against Southend, we struggle again at Lincoln. A pattern is emerging.
Regarding Lennon, I agree he is still very important to us. I think somebody like him will come into their own towards the end of the season, when it gets tense. If we even have half a chance of 2nd as we come into April/May he is the one with the drive and who can give the younger lads focus to take us there. It was shocking in the playoffs against Yeovil last time when the whole team just seemed to collapse, Lennon would try his hardest to make sure that wouldn't happen.

i agree with both on needing another striker what do you think of daryl murphy of sunderland on loan talk is wolves are interested in him on loan he seems to have falling down the pecking order his confidence is slightly of at the 'mo or what about buying that young chap easter (i think is his name) playing with wycombe not a bad player big, strong and fast and has an eye for goal your thoughts please

That guy at Wycombe is Jermaine Easter, he's now on loan at Plymouth with a permanent move in January. Similar to what we did with Tyson.
Saying that not sure if I'd want another League 2 striker. Think we should be aiming for a higher league loan signing.

i go for eddie clerkin
Clerkin is nothing more than a journeyman striker, who lacks pace. We may as well stick with Dobie. Hes also too fond of the booze and would be a bad influence on the dressing room....
