Taken from the Arsenal website
Early estimates suggest Robin van Persie will be sidelined for four weeks after picking up a knee injury on international duty.
When Arsène Wenger spoke to Arsenal TV Online on Thursday afternoon he had not seen his Dutch striker since he’d picked up the problem in the Euro 2008 qualifier against Slovenia the previous night. But the initial guidance led him to believe the 24-year-old could be out for a month.
“It looks like a knee injury,” said the manager. “We will know later today how bad it is but the early signs are that he will not be able to perform for us in the next four weeks.
“It is a big blow. Robin is a striker, a supportive striker and important on set-pieces as well. I hope he will be back soon and we’ll do the maximum to get him back.”

Well looks like hes gone for 4 to 6 weeks hopefully he will be back for the 3 london derbys Chelski Spuds and hammers.
He has been great for us so far this season but im still not worried the preformance on Saturday was top class in my book.
Bolton came to kill the game and kick us off the pitch, so many times last year we fell into this trap but we stuck to our guns got through the first half and got the job done.
Diouf should have walked no wonder he was subbed after the first goal. We just have to get max points out pool and man u and put our self in a good postion for November/ December time ready for Van to come back to get us through the busy xmas schedule.
I actually fear pool more than man ure because they are not playing well at the mo but still havent lost in the league you just know that they can turn it on any time hopefully not sunday
Looks like Martin Jollynot could be on his way after tonights great defeat away to the toon
Robbie "knacker" Keane is really having a say in his managers futures at the mo !
