It is the intention of the current comittee to re stand for election for their positions for next season.

These Postion are

Chairman - Figure head of the club, must engage with all new faces/members to the club, must not walk out of an Arsenal match even when were getting beat 3 nil.

Treasurer- Look after the wonga.

Secretary - Sole duty this season of looking after tickets only, the first direct point of contact with Arsenal.

Of course anyone else may stand for these positions.

The following other positions will also be available for next season

Assistant Secretary/membership officer- Duties to include taking and proccessing membership forms as well as standing in for Secretary on occassion to collect ticket money. You will be given priority access to the Arsenal Extranet. You will require access to a pc

Membership officer No. 2 - Once the above has processed membership onto the Arsenal database it will be your responsibility to produce membership cards for fully paid members. You will be given access to the extranet and will need a pc.

Events Officer- Duties to include liasing with other supporters clubs within the area (Bray, Drogheda) and organise agm/christmas party, working alongside Chairman.

Merchandise Officer - We are currently entitle to up to 20% of Official Arsenal Merchandise when ordered through our direct contact at Arsenal, your duty will include collecting orders and payment approx 3 times per year. You will need a credit card to hold this postion.

Lottery Co-ordinator - We are planning to hold our own monthly lottery. Your duty will be to ensure members collect and sell tickets. You will conduct the lottery at the first Arsenal match of every month (on tv or not) processing payment and ensure winners are paid correctly. You will work alongside Treasurer and Secretary.


Of the 5 new postion i have 3/4 intrested partys.

As part of a comittee of 6/7/8 people you will be required to take turns of answering emails and calls. The plan is to have a seperate phone for the supporters club next season with each officer taking the phone for a week at a time during the season. The same will apply to emails. We hope this will allow us to answer queries more effectively.


If we cannot fill at least 3 of the new posts it is my intention to step down as secretary.

Remember you get out the club what you put into it! Help us get our act together!

just to let you know these positions dont come come with any favours! you do it for the love of Arsenal any financial expense you incounter will be refunded though! The best we can do is offer a guarenteed ticket to a grade "B" game of your choice, but until further notice you would still have to pay for that!

Myself aand my son want tio join the supporters club, we are both red members, I started supporting the Gunners in 1971 when Charlie George scored against liverpool and my son is 10 a has 9 years service as a Gooner.
Were do I get my hands on the forms
